Public outlines are anonymized. Listed stage and scale are indicative; availability, mandate, grid status, permits and transaction terms require project-specific confirmation. Capacity bands may include portfolios and development targets; for PV + BESS hybrids they refer to PV capacity. A listing is not a statement of secured power.

Romania: market context

Romania supports wind and solar through two-way contracts for difference with 15-year terms. Three rounds since late 2024 have awarded about 4.2 GW. In the August 2025 round solar cleared at an average of about EUR 40/MWh and wind at about EUR 74/MWh, and projects must reach commercial operation within 36 months of signing.

The grid queue is large. By mid-2025 more than 1,200 projects with about 60 GW held valid connection permits (ATR), but only a small share had signed connection agreements or building permits. First-come, first-served access is being replaced by auction-based capacity allocation with higher financial guarantees. Signed connection agreements and owned land therefore weigh heavily in valuations.

Battery storage is scaling from megawatts to gigawatts, and most solar projects in the public selection carry co-located storage or a storage option.
