Public outlines are anonymized. Listed stage and scale are indicative; availability, mandate, grid status, permits and transaction terms require project-specific confirmation. Capacity bands may include portfolios and development targets; for PV + BESS hybrids they refer to PV capacity. A listing is not a statement of secured power.

Poland: market context

Poland's capacity market made it one of Europe's best-supported battery markets, but the de-rating for batteries has fallen to 13.4%. The December 2025 auction cleared a record 5.1 GW of physical storage, equal to only about 685 MW of payable capacity. New business cases rely more on balancing and arbitrage: day-ahead spreads averaged about EUR 153/MWh in 2025, and Poland joined the European aFRR platform PICASSO in July 2025.

Grid capacity is the binding constraint. In early 2026 PSE showed no realistically available capacity at its 110 kV substations, and only 66 of 397 battery projects holding connection conditions had signed connection agreements. The Grid Act signed in April 2026 requires a final building permit within 30 months of a connection agreement and allows cable pooling between renewables and storage.

Projects that already hold connection conditions or agreements, with defined connection dates, are the scarce asset. The Polish listings state their connection status and timing explicitly.
